Heritage History Ancient Rome - Review

Have you started looking at curriculum for next year? I have and we are not even finished with this year.  With homeschool conference season starting it is difficult not to start thinking about next year.

That is what is great about having the opportunity to review different homeschool curriculum as part  of the Old SchoolHouse Crew.
The lastest curriculum we have had the opportunity to review is from Heritage History.
As stated on their website,

"Heritage History promotes traditional narrative history curriculum for homeschool. Our online library contains biographies, legends, adapted literature, and introductory histories. All were written for the general reader and are easy and enjoyable to read."
For our review we decided to take a look at their Ancient Rome CD as we will be studying Ancient Rome next year.
I was amazed at all that this one Curriculum CD  has to offer. I have not completed gone through the entire CD since we started to read the stories that were appropriate for my two little ones (ages 5 & 7). The CD makes it easy to see which stories are for them as the titles are color coded for beginner, intermediate, and advanced. They were very interested in the stories we read. You can decide to print the stories or simply read them off of your screen.

The entire CD is priced at $24.99, it includes 45 books, over 60 maps, teaching aids, and a study guide.

Seems to me a good price for such a large collection. We will certainly be using this CD as part of our studies for the coming school year.

Heritage History also has various other collections such as Ancient Greece, British Middle Ages, British Empire, and a Young Readers collection.  If you would like more information, hope on over to their site by clicking here. You can also read what other Crew members had to say about some of the other collections by clicking here.

Disclaimer: As a member of the TOS Crew, I received a free CD to review. All opinions are my own.
