The Temptation Conversation

The other night, we were getting ready for bed.  Little Knight was in bed reading, waiting for a snack. When I handed him his snack, he looked at me with wide eyes and said,

Little Knight: Mommy, I was tempted?

Me: Tempted?

Little Knight: Yes, I saw that flashlight on my bed and thought, "When the lights go out I can use this flashlight to read under my covers." Then I remembered that my Bible says that Satan can make bad things look good, so I took the flashlight and threw it over there (pointing to the other side of the room).

Me: Good job (I really wasn't sure what else to say and was really trying not to laugh then because I didn't want him to think it wasn't important).

I did leave the room and laughed, not because it was silly, but because he was so sweet and sincere and very very cute about the entire thing. I love how his mind always seems to be thinking about God, I pray that he always keeps his focus on his Heavenly Father.
